This Admission Policy complies with the requirements of the Education Act 1998, the Education (Admission to Schools) Act 2018 and the Equal Status Act 2000, the Disabilities Act 2005, the Education for Persons with Special Educational Needs Act 2004 and the Rules for National Schools as updated by relevant DES circulars.
This policy is formulated in accordance with guidelines issued by the Primary School’s Managerial Bodies and the Irish National Teacher’s Organisation.

A Code of Behaviour Policy is a requirement under the Education Welfare Act 2000. It was prepared in accordance with Guidelines issued by the National Educational Welfare Board in May 2009.
This policy has been developed to deal with critical incidents. A Critical Incident is any incident or sequence of events, which overwhelms the normal coping mechanisms of the school and disrupts the running of the school.
